Montepulciano d’Abruzzo 100%.

PRODUCTION AREA
In the heart of the Chieti province, between the Maiella National Park and the Adriatic Sea.

SOILS
Hilly vineyards, at an average altitude of 230 metres above sea level, with predominantly clay-limestone soils.

VINIFICATION AND AGING
Long maceration on the skins at controlled temperature. Aged for 12 months in large Slavonian oak casks, followed by a brief period in bottle.

ORGANOLEPTIC CHARACTERISTICS
Deep ruby red with intense violet hues. Broad and intense aromas of ripe red fruit, with subtle spicy notes and nuances of raspberry, blueberry, and liquorice. Excellent structure, full-bodied, smooth, balanced, and long-lasting.

FOOD PAIRINGS
Cured meats, appetizers and assorted cheeses, legume soups, first courses with red sauces, and roasts.
